This Privacy Policy explains what data Assorted collects, how it is used, and your choices when you use the game and optional Google sign-in.

Information We Collect

• Gameplay data such as progress, solved puzzles, streaks, stats, and settings.
• Account profile data when you sign in with Google (for example: name, email, and profile picture).
• Diagnostic events needed to operate the app, including auth, sync, and runtime failure logs.

How We Use Information

• Run the game and save your progress.
• Sync your data across sessions/devices when signed in.
• Debug stability, authentication, and sync issues.

Storage and Sharing

• Data may be stored in browser local storage and in Supabase cloud storage.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We only share data with service providers required to run the product (such as auth and hosting providers).

Local Storage & Cookies

• Assorted uses browser local storage to persist your game progress, settings, and authentication tokens. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
• You can clear your stored data at any time through your browser settings.

Data Retention

• Cloud-synced data is retained for as long as your account exists.
• If you delete your cloud data through the app, it is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
• Diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically purged.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can play as a guest without signing in.
• You can sign out at any time.
• You can clear browser storage to remove local game data on your device.
• You can delete your cloud-synced data from the Profile screen inside the app.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting us at the address below.
• If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Assorted, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Children's Privacy

Assorted is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.
